MelbourneNorg is an interactive news site that puts the community in editorial control. MelbourneNorg does not represent, warrant or endorse the accuracy, reliability, completeness or timeliness of any of the information, content, views and opinions that are linked to or appear on this site.

Copyright

Any story or link submitted to MelbourneNorg remains the copyright of its original owners and they retain intellectual property. Anyone caught infringing copyright law will be blocked from all Cit J privileges on the site. Please see our House Rules.

Registration Obligations

As a condition to using MelbourneNorg, you are required to register with MelbourneNorg and select a password and screen name. We encourage users to consider using their full name. You shall provide MelbourneNorg with accurate, complete, and updated registration information. Failure to do so shall constitute a breach of the Conditions of Use, which may result in immediate termination of your Cit J privileges.

You may not

• select or use as a Cit J ID a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person;
• use as a Cit J ID a name subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization;
• use as a Cit J ID a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene.

MelbourneNorg reserves the right to refuse registration of, or cancel a User ID in its discretion.

Conditions of Use

As a condition of your use of MelbourneNorg or any services of MelbourneNorg you agree that you will not use it for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited. In particular, you agree not to:

• use MelbourneNorg to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise offend others;
• impersonate someone else or provide false details when registering;
• publish, distribute, e-mail, transmit or disseminate any material which is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, indecent, offensive or inappropriate;
• engage in or promote any surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, unsolicited e-mailing or spamming via MelbourneNorg;
• impersonate any person or entity;
• represent material as your own when it remains the property of its owners;
• publicise any information that may be in contempt of Court.

MelbourneNorg has no obligation to monitor any member’s use of MelbourneNorg. MelbourneNorg believes in handing moderation over to the community and will endeavour at all times to honour that belief as longs as all its conditions of use are met.

You will indemnify MelbourneNorg or its related bodies corporate should it suffer any loss or damage or incur any costs in connection with any breach of these conditions or any other legal obligation by you or your use of or conduct on MelbourneNorg.
