Falcon 1 reaches orbit

The first privately developed rocket has reached orbit.
Falcon 1, a two-stage rocket created by Elon Musk's SpaceX company, is the first privately developed rocket to reach orbit. It reached a speed of 5200 metres per second and a height in excess of 328km, which is higher than the orbit of the International Space Station.
