Apparently, we’re seeing Venus, Jupiter and a thin three-day-old crescent moon. What the photo doesn’t show, though, is how amazingly bright all three appear against the stars in the sky.

Wall St falls for a third week in a row

US stocks have fallen sharply, capping a third consecutive weekly decline, on a warning by American Express of mounting credit-card defaults and a slowdown in consumer spending.
