Apparently, we’re seeing Venus, Jupiter and a thin three-day-old crescent moon. What the photo doesn’t show, though, is how amazingly bright all three appear against the stars in the sky.

The Melbourne laneways have gone Virtual
Melbournes laneways can now be seen within Secondlife.
Anyone anywhere in the world can walk around the area and look at the cafes and shops. It's nice to bring friends into this space, I'm from Melbourne myself, and I can sort of show friends what some of it is like.
The Laneways are currently sitting on ABC Island [Yes, THAT ABC].
Go to www.secondlife.com and get yourself an avatar, then you and your friends can explore the laneways together, and sit at one of the tables and chat.

This is indeed one of the more interesting Australian builds in Second Life. Some further pics can also be found here:http://www.sloz.com.au/2007/10/04/virtual-melbourne-has-arrived/ Thanks Wolfie for the story!
